Hi. I'm Katie. Nice to meet you. I'm originally from Michigan, but I've made North Carolina my home for the last decade. My background and training are as a classical musician in opera, but I am also trained in digital and film photography and graphic design with Adobe Creative Suite. I have a BA in music and Italian cultural studies from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, and I have studied music and visual arts at Interlochen Arts Academy, Indiana University, Northwestern Michigan College, University of Michigan, Blue Ridge Community College, and University of North Carolina at Asheville.

As a working musician, I design the majority of my own publicity materials from playbills to posters to Facebook headers (which maddeningly enough change formats constantly!). I have photographed and/or filmed weddings, headshots, private parties, concerts, and plays. Additionally, I have designed and photographed promotional materials for musicians, art galleries, creative consultants, and theaters throughout western North Carolina.
